Dougie Vipond presents live coverage of the 2017 Great Scottish Run from George Square in the heart of Glasgow. The focus is on Scotland's leading half-marathon race, which takes place over a 13-mile course that takes in the sights of George Square, Pollok Park and The Hydro before finishing in the picturesque surrounds of Glasgow Green. In front of nearly 12,000 mass runners will be the men's and women's elite races, contested by stellar fields of international and domestic stars including Britons Andy Butchart and Jo Pavey. In addition to coverage of the elite races, there will be stories from some of the thousands of those running for their own personal reasons. Dougie is joined by reporters David Currie and Rhona McLeod.
