Barra's Wild Days Out Ep Carlingford The first episode in the series. Barra is in Greenore, on the shores of Carlingford lough. He's here to meet local man Shane Reenan, to help solve the mystery of where Finn, a solitary bottlenose dolphin that has taken up residence in the lough, has come from. It is unusual for a bottlenose dolphin to live alone, and the work Shane and others are doing, is vital to help protect Finn. Barra then heads to Carlingford, where he hitches a ride out onto the lough at low tide. Oyster farmer Kian Louet-Feisser, who's father set up the farm in the 1960's puts Barra to work on the oyster beds, which produce oysters for some of the UK and Ireland's finest restaurants. Finally Barra heads to the Ring of Gullion where he meets Caóilfíonn Murphy O'Hanlon, an artist passionate about celebrating, and protecting our only native goat, the Old Irish Goat. Caóilfíonn explains to Barra why these mysterious animals have inspired her and many other artists, before son Pádraig O'Hanlon and ranger Donald Whiteside, take Barra on a hike up the slopes, as they try to track down a herd, and give Barra his first ever glimpse of a wild Old Irish Goat.
