The Genius of Photography Wat is een foto waard? Dat onderzoekt deze laatste aflevering in de reeks. We zien hoe de fotografie haar plaats heeft veroverd in de artistieke 'canon'. Dat blijkt onder meer uit de fenomenale bedragen die soms betaald worden voor een foto: tot 3 miljoen dollar. Anderzijds heeft de digitale revolutie de fotografie democratischer en goedkoper gemaakt dan ooit tevoren. We bekijken onder meer het werk van Jeff Wall, Andreas Gursky, Gregory Crewdson en Wang Qingsong.
